Zulu. One of the top bars in Maadi, was launched in 2017. The vision for Zulu was that it would become an oasis for those trying to get away from the hustle and bustle in Cairo.

We believe in supporting the community and try to do our part by only buying our produce local, and from small family businesses in Cairo.

In saying so, we do however import authentic South African ingredients such as steaks, spices, and other core ingredients which we are not able to source in Egypt.

ZULU is Fully Licensed by the Touristic Department in Egypt. So while we get to serve you tasty South African food, we are also fully licensed to serve up those sometimes, much needed drinks.
